Aveda Salons Raise Funds For TCWN In April
Knoxville, Tennessee - As part of their Earth Month celebration, the Aveda Salons across Tennessee will be raising funds for the programs and projects of the Tennessee Clean Water Network.
Aveda has partnered with TCWN since 2013 to advance the cause of clean water for all Tennesseans. In the last two years, Aveda has raised more than $100,000 for TCWN’s projects including the Bringing Tap Back Fountains Project and the annual Sturegonfest.
“The Tennessee Aveda salons are having fashions shows, markets days and all sorts of fundraising activities to help TCWN strive to meet its goal of clean water for all,” said Renee Hoyos, TCWN Executive Director. “We really appreciate their support, and we urge everyone to visit an Aveda Salon during April to see how you can help clean up Tennessee waterways that serve as the source of drinking water for millions of our state’s citizens.”
Aveda’s support of TCWN is an outgrowth of its strong commitment to clean water and improving environmental quality in Tennessee.
“The Tennessee Clean Water Network is a valued Earth Month partner with Aveda,” said Londa Kilbarger, Salon Development Partner with the Neill Corporation. “Their commitment to the Tennessee lakes and streams, as well as providing clean water stations statewide is a worthy cause affecting all the people in Tennessee.”
